Poly Aluminum Chloride is a widely-used water treatment chemical of degerming, decoloring, defluorinating, dechromic, dephenolic, detoxication and so on.
PAC is a hydroxy poly nucleation complexation cation macromolecule flocculant, light yellow or ash powder. Its molecular formula is [Al2(OH)nCl6-n]m, n<=5, m>=10. Because of its hydroxy, when being added turbid water, PAC will continue hydrolyzing under the Ph-conditions of the water. During the period of hydrolyzing, together with agglomeration, adsorption and disposition, such physical or chemical process, the aim of treatment is reached.
The evident characteristic of PAC is, distinct water disposal effect, fast flocculant efficiency, wide PH adoption, low corrosion to pipe equipments, effective dehydration, low disposal cost, little use volume, easy handle, less human and physical resources. So PAC is widely used in disposal of drinking-water, industrial-water and sewage field.
