Company Introduction
ZHEJIANG JINGLONG KNIVES & SWORDS Co,. Ltd is located in Longquan, city famous for the production of chinese swords. Our company has been set up in 1993 by his owner, Mr JI and it has become one of the main manufacturers of the city for a wide range of swords : Hand-Forged katanas, Samurai swords, Movie and manga swords, Decorative katanas, Chinese swords...
Our products are manufactured in a modern and spacious plant (21000 sqm / 250 employees) in which we combine the skill of the first blacksmiths of Longquan and modern production techniques to get quality products which will give all satisfaction to our customers. The satisfaction of our customers is our best reward!
Our factory is capable of producing all types of blades in a wide variety of steel and forging techniques:
MARU blades : The forge maru represents the base of a katana blade manufacturing method. A single piece of steel is used to make the blade. The steel grade (1045, 1060, 1095) corresponds to the international standard indicating the carbon content :
= 1045 with 0.45% of carbon. This type of steel is classified in the "hard steel".
=1060 & 1095 with 0.60 or 0.95% of carbon. These types of steel are classified in the "super hard steel".
Our selection of Katana of training, sharp or not, maru 1060 or 1095 steel blades are a good compromise. They are adapted to the practice of the Cut (batto do), but are however likely to blunt faster than damascus blades, composite steel blades or with true hamon ( clay tempered ). In case of blades with a true hamon the hardness will not be the same on all his parts.
SOSHU KITAE blades : Rolled 7 times according to the technique of the japanese blacksmith Masamune, Soshu Kitae blades provide excellent mechanical characteristics inconsistent with a single grade of steel.
The presence of soft steel in the heart of the blade to give it its elasticity (spring effect). The hardness of the surface is given by the hard steel, present on the sides of the blade.
The high quality of our products is explained on one hand by the quality of the raw materials used and on the other hand by the rigorous techniques of production and control that we have in place. Per instance, before each shipment, a team independent of the production plant will once again conduct a control of quality and compliance.
Finally, to better serve our clients around the world we have just set up a service that will allow them to share their requests, in writing, in their own language. Next to English, the concerned languages are: German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Arabic and Thai.
Thank you in advance for your trust.
