The saponification continues at a slow pace for several hours into the mold. It&＃39;s a slow process because, among other things required long drying out of soap so that they acquire the best physical properties. But the important advantage is that the rich moisturizing properties of glycerin, which is a byproduct of the saponification remains in the soap.
