Sonar Division:
Western marine Electronics is widely recognized as the leading U.S. Company in advanced marine sonar systems for commercial fishing and defense applications. Western marine Electronics sonars operate in all the major fisheries of the world.



Mechanical Division:
The mechanical division, created in 1980 has become a leader in the design of bow thrusters and roll fin stabilizers. Mechanical products have rapidly expanded to include anchor windlasses, winches and central hydraulics to operate these systems. These innovative products are used worldwide on some of the most prestigious yachts and work boats.


Western marine Electronics designs and manufactures its products at an 82,000-foot plant in Seattle, Wash., near Seattle. At this location, the company maintains a sophisticated engineering design lab, prototype and test facilities, and a complete, modern, highly automated manufacturing department including a mold and machining facility with computerized machinery and test equipment.
