Our Wu-Long (TM) brand tea is a rare Chinese oolong tea in between authentic green tea and black tea in oxidation. Although the taste of our Wu-Long (TM) brand is more similar to green tea than black tea, it does not have the bitter, grassy taste of an authentic green tea. The term "Wu-Long" means "black dragon" in Chinese; thousand-year-old legends describe the origin of this rather peculiar name. In one legend, the owner of a tea estate was frightened away from his drying tea leaves by the appearance of a black snake; when he cautiously returned days later, the leaves had been oxidized by the sun and gave a delightful, delicious drink
