In addition to water, it has a pleasant-smelling oil blend consisting of peppermint, lemon, black pepper, lemongrass, sandalwood and rosemary, plus menthol, glycerin and polyacrylamide. Wehave made sure that all of these ingredients are classified by the FDA as "Generally Recognized As Safe" (GRAS). The ingredients are held in a smart hydrogel (patent pending) which contains the ingredients at room temperature. When applied to the upper lip, though, the increased skin temperature causes the hydrogel to release the effective ingredients so they can be inhaled.
