Started in November, 1963 the shop was originally a general fabrication and precision machining facility catering to varied industries including textiles, mining, plastics, agricultural, and other machineries and parts. In 1983, the company started making small oil expellers for use in village level coconut oil production. The oil made was then processed into cooking oil and soap. The expeller called "SIMPLEXTRACTOR" has since been used also to produce Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) and Coco Biodiesel (CME). SIMPLEXTRACTOR is a screw-type expeller capable of pressing 50 to 80 kg per hour (depending on drive motor Hp) of dried coco meat at a maximum recovery rate of 59 to 62 %. It is driven by 3Hp-5Hp electric motor or small diesel engine. SIMPLEXTRACTOR is available in hardened carbon steel or stainless steel (food grade) configurations.
