ANTECEDENTS History.- The company was founded in Zamora, Michoacán, since 1964, under the management of Mr. Jose A. Valdes Rocha (deceased), companies name �Empacadora El Duero�, and later in 1972 the name changed due to an expansion. In which, another plant was installed in the state of Jalisco, Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, which took the name of � J.A. Valdes�, this company elaborated until 1977 under the same management, since Mr. Valdes Rocha had decided to sale both in Zamora and Tlajomulco. In 1980 another plant was installed and begins its process under the same management of Mr. Valdes Rocha, in Zamora, Michoacán, with the name of �Valpak�. In 1987 another expansion in the state of Veracruz, an area rich in production in Pineapple and Papaya, not just being located very close to citric production areas like; grapefruit and orange. During difficult times due to the wellbeing of Mr. Valdes Rocha, the two companies where practically close (from 1994 to 1996). After Mr. Valdes Rocha death in 1996, his sons Jose and Antonio, whom where always taking care of their fathers businesses, and decided to take the reins with the name of � VALDES, S.A. de C.V.�, seeing some difficulty in processing in the state of Veracruz, they put all of their determination to go forward with the plant in Zamora, Michoacán. At the present time it is being process in both plants and we are prepare to increase our volume.
