It was in this year that the Vegetable Energy Division innovated a coconut-base diesel-like fuel, lubricants and oil for 2-stroke engines; and In 1983, the 1st Vegetable Energy Plant was constructed in Minglanilla, Cebu, Philippines with a production of various fuels (gasoline & diesel-likes fuels), lubricants and fluids.
