Tianjin Jiatai Weiye Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., a professional modern chemical plant for production of expandable polystyrene (EPS) resin, was established in November 2007. The annual output of the plant in the first phase is 120,000 tons. The first production line with the capacity of 60,000T/a was put on stream in September 2009. The total investment of  it is 120 million RMB Yuan.  The final production capacity of the plant will reach to 300,000T/a.

    Tianjin Jiatai Weiye Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. is located in the Tianjin Dagang Petrochemical Industrial Park where is close to the beautiful Bohai Sea. Tianjin Dagang Petrochemical Industrial Park is affiliated to   Binhai New Area where is located in the Bohai Sea Economic Development Rim. Relying on Tianjin Port where is only 25km away from the plant,  it is convenient for the export and import of the feedstock and auxiliary feedstock as well as the EPS product. The product can satisfy the market demand in north, northeast and northwest regions in China and Henan and Shandong . The main varieties of product are: special light  (Grade P ), standard  (Grade E ), fire retardant ( Grade F ), fast cycle ( Grade B ), etc..

    Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) is with the properties of : low thermal conductivity, insulation,  less water absorption , anti-shock, anti-aging, higher compressive strength and fine mechanical strength and so on. It is  recognized worldwide as the most convenient and most economical material with the character of cushioning, thermal insulation and sound insulation. It is widely used in packaging , new building materials,  plastic floating materials and outside wall paste in construction and so on .
