Connectcast and Connectcast Poly products have advantages in these characteristics: lightweight, strong, radiolucent and porous comparing with traditional plaster splint. Also cast removal generates dust, which is lower in quantity and larger in particle size than the dust generated upon removal of a plaster cast. And so do Connectsplint and Connectsplint Ploy products.
