It was organized in August 2004 as an affiliate of F&J Prince Holdings Corp. (FJP) is a Philippine-based holding company with investments in companies involved in real estate, power generation, information technology, and business process outsourcing. It is listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange or its predecessor, the Manila Stock Exchange, since 1979 with symbol code FJP. It was originally incorporated as an exploration and mining company on February 18, 1971 as Ultrana Nuclear and Minerals Corporation. Its name was subsequently amended to Ultrana Energy and Resources Corporation and in 1996 its name was further amended to F & J Prince Holdings Corporation.
