Sundow Polymers Co. Ltd is a high-tech chemical company that is focused on R&D, manufacturing and marketing of chlorinated polymers. It is one of the industrial pioneers and leaders of Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) and Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) in China. It has been in the R&D of chlorinated polymers business over 13 years. Sundow Polymers is located in the Yellow River delta development zone in the Shangdong Province. It has two manufacturing facilities with over 150 acres. Currently it has three main product series with an annual capacity as follows: 30, 000 metric tons (MT) of CPE; 8, 000MT of CPVC, and 4, 500MT of dimethyl-5-sulfoisophthalate sodium salt (DMSIP). The company has planned to expand its CPE manufacturing capacity. The first phase of expansion has already completed in March 2011. The second phase of expansion will be on the way soon after the first phase expansion and is expected to be completed in the end of 2011 . It will reach a total annual capacity of 50, 000MT when the second phase expansion is completed. Because of our unique R&D experience in the chlorinated polymer business, we have currently developed 15 grades in the CPE series. These grades can be applied in the flexible and rigid plastic products, flame- retardant ABS, cable wire insulation and jacket, industrial and automobile hoses, magnetic rubber and various special purpose rubber products etc. These grades can be served for a variety of needs to our customers. Many top window profile and FR-ABS manufacturers, such as Kommerling, Veka, Rehau etc., have been our regular customers.
