Sulfamic acid is a monobasic, inorganic, dry acid.
It is dry, non - hygroscopic, odourless powder. It is insoluable in h2so4 but soluable in formaldehyde. It is moderately soluable water and slightly soluable in other polar solvents pH(1.25) of 1% solution of sulfamic acid at 25'c. The solution of sulfamic acid remains stable for many months at room temperature but hydrolysis is rapid at higher temperature, it decomposes at 209'c.
Sulfamic acid used in different application in various industries.
Like paper, sulfamation of organic compound, leather indsutries, dyes, descaling water, plastic as a curring agent, swimming poool etc.
