THE COMPANY:

SOFT TOUCH INTERNATIONAL LTD started in 2003 as a local supplier to Bangladeshi garment factories. Subsequently, the company shifted its operation in 2005. In 2005 SOFT TOUCH became involved as an agency representing customers interested to source Garments & sweaters from Bangladesh and thus started our journey in to the field of buying garments, especially on SWEATER, KNIT & WOVEN.
Its Proprietor, Md. Kamruzzaman, started his career as Merchandiser and who was Merchandising In-charge one of Taiwanese buying house for 10.5 years and now is fully involved with his own company for handling the orders directly. Note we can ensure the good quality and on time shipment with best competitive price.
Soft touch Internationl has a total 16 staff member and each department is lead by a Professional Manager, who runs them independently.

FACTORIES:

Most of our factories are very aware of the Social issues. They are major suppliers to customers like Wal-Mart, JC penny, Sears, Calvien Klein etc. We also have factories which are well on their way to complying with the social and quality management issues. Importers orders are placed in these factories. The factories who have passed audit naturally works at a higher price point than the others. Depending on type of factory required, we will send the profiles.


TEARMS OF TRADE:

Generally business from Bangladesh to North America or Europe is on FOB basis. Payment is based on irrevocable and transferable letters of credit at sight.
Depending on source of yarn, fabric and accessories, styling and approvals--
production lead time range as 40 days - 60days - 90days - 120days.
Vessel transit from Chittagong port to North America averages around 25-28days.
Vessel Transit from Chittagong port to Europe averages around 35days.
