Especially in places where public safety is a priority, most frequently used public entities use SC-2000 (LSHF) cables where upon in the unfortunate situation of fire, it emits very little smoke and no poisonous gases, thereby extending time of escape. The extrusion of SC-2000 (LSHF) compound requires no upgrade of machinery or equipment as can be used on machinery that is presently extruding cables with PVC compound.
