AntWorld is a unique self-contained environment for ants that allows you to watch them live, work, and create series upon series of intricate 3D tunnels in the special non-toxic, translucent gel (different colors). The ants are easy to care for they need no food or water because the AntWorld gel is complete with nutrients to promote healthy growth in the new colony. AntWorld is based upon a 2003 NASA Space Shuttle experiment to study animal life in space and test how ants successfully tunnel in micro gravity.
