Shanghai Bulong Petroleum Machinery Plant, founded in 2005, is a professional enterprise dedicated to producing drill collars of low and medium prices. Our drill collars specially customized for applications in shallow well, geothermal well, coalbed methane well and hydrographic well are becoming popular in both domestic and abroad market for high price-performance ratio and a relatively low cost investment. The hardness of the hot-rolled alloy steel tubing of 40Mn2 and 42CrMo for our drill collars can reach as high as 285HB-341HB after proper heat treatment. The screws are manufactured strictly according to API standards with cold rolling treatment. Also, the screws have to undergo surface phosphorization treatment to increase their hardness and smoothness and to eliminate conglutination. To ensure superior quality, crack detection is performed by China Northwest Tubing Research Institute. We are now also running mass production of heavy weight drill pipes as well as integral heavy weight drill pipes to export to the US market.
