USES

HIDE & SKIN: This grinded salt/powder is being used as a direct preservative for thousands of years particularly as a extension agent for Meat and Fish products.  The preservation action of salt is through a reduction of water activity. Salt is very important contributors to the preservation of sheep casing, it may be added as dry salt or brine and is used in combination with techniques wuch as drying, soaking and fermentation.
CHEMICAL: This is also being used in the manufacturing of heavy chemicals like hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide (caustic soda), sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), chlorine and many other chemicals.
TEXTILE DYING & DYES: This salt is used in textitle dying in the exhaustion of dyes into the fabric and the transferring media is salt.  As ionic force is required to transfer the dyes to the fabric, salt plays a very important role as the ionic force.  It is also used to color the clothes.  It is an important raw material for the dyes which are used in coloring the clothes.
GRINDED OR POWDER SALT: Is also used in the manufacturing of soap, glaze and procelain enames and is used in metallurical processes as a flux, when applied to show or ice, salt lowers the melting point of the mixture.
