Ruwan food products was established in 1996 as a small industry in packing and distributing spices such as blackpepper, chilly, cardamum, cinammon, cloves etc. We have now moved into tea bagging and sell bulk. Tea. We can supply any amount of tea bags flavourd or nonflavourd to any market according to their requirments. Over the years we have entered the frozen food market with fish prawns and other meat products. We also bid tenders and supply the government departments in sugar, canned fish and dry fish. These products are imported from various countries around the world.
Sri lanka has become one of the largest produces of garments and it is one of the biggest export eaner for the country. We decided to start in this industry ina small way. We are now exporting stock lot apperals and open a new office. This buying office is in touch with most of the factories and buy their excess stocks as and when requested by our buyers in u. S. A. And uk. We are still looking for more buyers to expand this business. We will also produce any apperal if the design and fabric details are given to us. Then we will develop a sample from one of the factories and if the buyer is satisfied we will monitor the production from the start to the end and until the containers leave our shore to ensure our buyer will get a quality product.
