Company Introduction

Royal Flowers was founded in 1991 with the opening of our first farm. In 1994 we established Royal Flowers Inc., our sister company and sole importer and distributor for the North American market. Over the years our group of enterprises has grown to include Royal Cargo, an international freight-forwarder, and the brands Royal Collection and Floral Works, which function as a flower procurement and quality control services. Based on the concepts of total quality and specialized customer service, the company achieved a steady growth, and today our farms are comprised of more than 100 hectares in total. The farms are located in the principal flower growing areas of the country, which are in the Andean highlands surrounding the Quito area (called the Sierra). Currently we offer over 160 varieties of premium roses. Our selection provides customers with different characteristics and colors, suited for a number of different markets and tastes. We are continually researching and testing the newest varieties and styles in the market, to ensure that Royal Flowers, as well as our customers, are in step with the latest trends in the industry. In addition, we operate our own plant propagation facility, which provides our farms with healthy young plants when new varieties are introduced. Our company focus and goal is to consistently supply our customers and the end-consumer with the highest quality Ecuadorian roses available on the market. Royal Flowers roses are distinguished by their long vase life, large bloom size, and long, sturdy stems. Extra investments in fertilizers as well as advanced growing techniques ensure that our blooms are robust and full, with a minimum of 30 petals. Cut stages are meticulously managed to ensure customer satisfaction and to achieve nothing less than a classical, natural bloom in the vase. Finally, our extensive training of personnel ensures that mechanical damages and mistreatment are kept to a minimum.
