Company Introduction
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Internationally, the growth of the mining industry has been driven by a number of factors including: The support for mining both Iron Ore and Manganese Ore is getting immense support from steel manufacturing companies internationally in both machinery and new technology, there is enough support for cleaner environmentally friendly mining resources in a bid to limit environmental impact: Promotion of sustainable development, exertion of downward pressure on global steel prices and need to train Africa to embark on brand new methods of mining and Ferro-Steel Processing: Upliftment of the Brand-New Ferro-Steel Processing Manufacturing methods and machinery (trough utilization of skills training programs needs within the broader spectrum on the SADC Region and Africa at large). 1.2 In Southern Africa a specific requirement in both machinery and new technology including that of Ferro-Steel Processing Manufacturing strategy is to create a link between first and third world economies by getting involved in these manufacturing programs. This is particularly due to the volatile nature of raw steel product prices with which African companies must compete with as their prices are compared to the international price index and some material regarded as not good enough as it comes from a certain country or black owned mining companies. This is a similar scenario to that experienced by South Africa during the development of the introducing black miners in the mining industry.
