Revell started on the road to success in the USA back in 1943. The decision to cross the Atlantic came early, with today's Revell GmbH & Co. KG being set up in B?de, Westphalia in 1957. The foundation stone of one of the most successful modeling companies had thus been laid. By 1968, modeling kits developed in the company's German facilities were available throughout Europe. The company's facilities in B?de subsequently went on to become the model kit center. Supplying to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Oceania and South America, the company today is responsible for virtually the entire global market. All areas, such as product development, marketing, logistics and sales are now controlled centrally from the corporate headquarters in B?de.
