Founded in April 1970 as Chatral Produtos Eletr?icos Ltda, its main objective was to manufacture and sale HF/SSB transceivers, power supplies and antennas for the telecommunications segment. Over the following decades, according to the need of their consumers, started to develop and manufacture VHF/UHF-FM Mobile Transceivers. In 1989 changes the name to Relm Chatral Telecomunica?es Ltda. and the following year, started to develop and implement in its production line Portable VHF/UHF-FM Transceivers and Repeaters besides Rural Single Channel Transceivers. In this new phase, begun to stand out in the market as a leading supplier in Government Agencies in Federal, State and Municipal levels and private fleets.
