Over 500 years ago, Sri Chaitanya (1486-1533) (popularly known as Gourango Mahaprabhu) had launched a spiritual revolution in India through his "sankirtana" movement (i.e. congregational chanting of the holy names) founded on original vedic ideals and philosophy for liberation of humanity. This Bhakti movement (i.e. path of devotion) had attracted one and all from great scholars to common man and children irrespective of their caste, creed, race, religion or sex.
