Qingdao Jieneng Steam Turbine Co., Ltd., which has been transformed from Qingdao Steam Turbine Works, is a Second Class National Large Enterprise with Jieneng Brand steam turbines as its leading products, featuring high and new technology and boasting modem production scale.Set up in 1958, QJST started its production of steam turbines in 1958, and now, owns the fixed asset originally worth 260 million RMB with production capacity 2500MW and sale volume 600 million RMB per year. QJST covers an area of 220, 000 square, including a building area of 15.5000 square. And has 1800 employees, including 300 technicians, and more than 600 sets of key machines, including about 100 sets of big and precision NC machine tools, obtaining a powerful process capacity.QJST is the key manufacturer of small and middle steam turbines appointed by the Ministry of Machine Building Industry, mainly producing Jieneng Brand steam turbines up to 60MW each covering various types, and has got the license for import and export. So far, it has provided more than 2, 000 sets of various steam turbines to various industries at home as well as to such countries as Thailand, Tanzania, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan and other SEA countries.
