Proto Giken, Inc. is located in Gunma prefecture, Japan and has been specialized in urethane forming since 1999.
We are able to make any kind of urethane product from soft to hard, solid or foamed so that we are able to answer any requests from customers.
We are R&D-oriented company and have several patents.
Recently we have finally developed biomass urethane which is made from bio-material such as wood, rice and other plants and good for environment and human body.
Biomass tatami mat is one of the applications of biomass urethane. *Biomass tatami mat is no longer available but other products such as soft washable antibacterial tatami mat.
The newest products are soft washable antibacterial tatami mats, and super soft washable antibacterial tatami mats.
Their appearances are almost the same as traditional tatami mats but the production technique, materials, and their inside are quite different.
Also We are proudly introducing 100% urethane-made tiles and basins soon.
These materials aforementioned are made by 100% all urethane and manufactured in the mold. No sewing and no craftsman's work.
