DAMEL, a historic company on the Spanish confectionery market begins its history in 1860 as a small bakery in Elche, in the province of Alicante. Over the decades, more than a century, Damel has adapted to the demands of its consumers, while preserving its characteristic features of its products and its basic principles.

The merger with the snack manufacturer STI IBERICA in 2008 creates a large food group called Productos Damel SL, and brings a major production line together: "Sweet and Salty". The combined sales hits from both companies, as Pectol, Palotes or Cheiw of Damel, and the dried fruit / nuts line of the snack manufacturer STI Iberica under the banner of CasaMayor, are occupying a strong position in the market.
