Murat ERBAS Industry is the first manufacturer of micro ( 300 micron) size reinforcement fibers in Turkey. When the cement meets with water, hydration reaction starts and then fresh (plastic) cement mixture begins to shrink. Additionally, heavy aggregates settle due to the vibration process and gravity forces. Both shrinkage and settlement are harmful for the durability properties. Shrinkage causes micro cracks and permeability problems. Settlement causes cracking, bleeding water, dusting, powdering, de-lamination, weak surface, fatigue, poor strength etc. WHAT FIBERFORCE CAN DO IN CEMENTITIOUS MIXTURE? FIBERFORCE acts as a secondary reinforcement system and increases tensile strain capacity of the plastic cement mixture. The shrinkage cracks disappear; capillarity and permeability decrease by using FIBERFORCE.
