The kickless operation is achieved using coaxial construction of flexible copper ropes. Opposite polarities are separated by seamless abrasion resistant insulating sleeves. The assembly is enclosed in a flexible, reinforced covering of abrasion and oil resistant rubber hose. The rope lay construction provides flexibility and reduces reactance and magnetic stresses to a negligible degree.
