Company Introduction
OXYWELD was formed in 1981 by Mr. Enrico Andreetta. Four years of research and development were necessary to test and improve a unique system able to generate pure and dry Hydrogen from distilled water, through an electrolysis process. The gas generator was initially sold in Italy to electric motors repairers and some jewelry manufacturers. In 1988 it was introduced in Spain, and a company called OWELD was formed to distribute the machines on that market.
In 1989 the expansion continued into Germany and some of Eastern Europe countries; by 1995, Oxyweld had established a network of distributors, representatives and service centers in almost all of EU.
In 1997, another company called H2OWELD was formed in the United States partnering with a local, nationwide distributor to sell and service the North and South American Markets. Oxyweld's machines have been sold (either directly or through local distributors) in 87 countries.
All of Oxyweld's machines are produced in Sacile, Italy. They are assembled by hand; assembling time is generally 1 day. Each component is tested before and after its installation in the machine. The testing process is usually 3 days for components and 5 days for the finished machine. The factory has a maximum capacity of 400 machines/month.
