We are a family company with 30 years of tradition in the field of sale and processing hard woods ( oak, ash, beech, cherry, walnut,hornbeam) in a variety of forms: (logs, bulls, unedged springboard,edged palnks , veneer). Due to changes in the market, we started three years ago with thermal treatment of wood, which gives wood greater resistance to declay, increased stability, long life. Thermal modification of wood is a newer procedure, with which we want to use environmentally friendly methods without use of biocides, wood is protected against pests and improve dimensional stability. In the case of modifications of wood in wood changes the structure of base polymers in cell wall. Due to the changed molecular structure changes the level of the different characteristics of the wood. Properties of thermally modified wood depends on the various parameters such as: the type of wood, the humidity of the wood, the duration of the process, temperature modifications. The most frequently used tree species for thermal modification are as follows: Ash, birch, oak, birch, conifers. Thermally modified wood is the most commonly used for: garden furniture, Windows and doors floor coverings external shutterings, prefabricated house roof structures specific purposes (sauna, bathroom, boat building). We are lacated in EU-Slovenia, on Italian border 100 km from Venice and 6 km from Adriatic sea.
