Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. has long enjoyed the loyal support of our customers through our involvement with a range of products, primarily electrical wires for machinery, communications cables, electrode wires for wire-cut electric discharge machining (EDM) and flexible print circuits (FPCs.) We are involved with all processes from design, through production, and to the sale of our products.
As a means of transmitting electricity and information, electrical wires and cables are an indispensable part of social infrastructure. Going forward, the applications of electrical wires are expected to expand and diversify still further. As we carry out our manufacturing work, we aim to inspire confidence in our customers from the beginning by taking the initiative swiftly through the combined efforts of our sales, technology, and production capabilities, with the aim of responding to the diversifying needs of our customers. Commercial products we have developed include appliance cables (robot cables etc.) featuring high-speed communication capabilities, high flex levels and noiseproofing functions which are used in the domains of production machinery, FA and medical devices, cables used for machine vision, and PCF optic fibers.
Our electrode wires have won high commendations overseas particularly in the EU, North America, and China, as well as in Japan. We sell a variety of high precision wires and general purpose brass wires for electric discharge machinery and processing applications in these countries, and have recently developed multi-layered electrode wire as a commercial product which dramatically reduces the processing time required for brass wire.
FPCs have become an important component due to their thin, light structure and the degree of freedom they enable in design. Our company delivers FPCs at low prices and high quality through our unique production system which allows us to produce FPCs in both large and small quantities. We provide a varied lineup of FPCs featuring high-speed transmission, power systems, independent slide functions and length. We recommend their use in a whole range of markets including the control instrument market and medical device market.
