Founded in March 2005 the China Ancient Ship Model Manufacture Center, serves as the only innovative enterprise specialized in designing, manufacturing and selling ancient model ships within ningbo. Situated in what is known as the hometown of the 'China Fishing Festival', the manufacturing center stands as a proud venture with an experienced past. Its location, namely Shipu Port in Xiangshan County maintains today ancient traditions in fishery. The center has taken on board the expertise and guidance of Xi Longfei. He is a famous Chinese ship historian in transportation and is also a Professor in Wuhan Institute of Technology.
     With steadfast tenet, the Center continues and develops upon the culture of the Chinese ancient ships. The Center concentrates in exquisite model ships made manually and range from 100cm to 6m in size.
     Models included are Zhenghe treasure boat, dragon boat, Ningbo boat, Green Eyebrow boat, Bianhe River Passenger boat, Jiaxing South Lake boat and Caofang boat. These are exhibited in the Center's display cabinet along with other famous Chinese ancient ship models currently being erected.
     These model ships are of paramount significance in both cultural and appreciation stakes and are valued highly are treasured possessions.
