New Star (the shortened call sign of New Star Wholesale, Inc.) was founded in 1988 as an importer and wholesaler of toys and gifts. A few years later, with the hard work and determination of its founder and employees, they started to yield very positive results. Our product lines include: Gifts, cookware, clocks, furniture, vanity sinks, bathroom accessories, auto accessories, educational toys, ride-on vehicles, umbrellas, and much much more! New Star sales on all product lines grossed over $70 million for 2007. We are currently anticipating over $90 million+ in sales for 2008-2009. New Star has shifted from being a retailer to a manufacturer and importer of toys. It has consistently grown and expanded its operations not only in California, but the other states in the U.S. as well. Exports were made to toy and gift chains in Mexico, Latin American countries, some parts of Europe, and Asia. New Star Wholesale, Inc. even has customers as far as Tahiti in Polynesia. Recently, New Star acquired global licenses for many products. We currently hold licenses with GM for the Hummer H3 and Hummer H3X, along with licenses for the Volkswagen Beetle. We also have character licenses on Looney Tunes and Scooby Doo respectively in the U.S. and Mexico. Mack Truck is our latest addition to the line, and we look forward to further adding other new and exciting brands to our list of products in this coming year. With toys accounting for the largest sales here at New Star, we are proud to present our products made only with the highest quality material that meet international standards as well as guaranteed satisfaction for both parents and kids alike. We currently work with Bureau Veritas and Intertek Testing Services in conducting tests that are in accordance to ASTM standards. In addition, we also test in accordance with EN71 standards.
