Miyasaka Polymer (Phils.), Inc. is a Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) registered company, which was established on November 1994 and started its operation in October 1995. The original factory building covers 2,650m2 of the total land area of 10,507m2.
The company is engaged in the manufacture of molded rubber parts including assembly with other parts such as plastic & metal. Majority of which are used in the Automotive Wiring Harness Assembly, some are used as Medical Instruments Parts, Camera and Microscope Parts, Compressor Seal Parts and Electronic Microswitch Pads.
About 80% of these products are exported to Japan, Germany, USA, Singapore, Thailand, Hongkong, China, Vietnam, Indonesia and the other 20% to locally based multinational customers namely; Pilipinas Kyohritsu Incorporated (PKI), International Wiring Systems (Phils.) Corporation (IWSPC), Yazaki local affiliates, LEAR Corporation and TDK Fujitsu Philippines Corporation.
In September 2005, another building with an area of 2,800m2 became operational, increasing the total factory area to 5,459m2. .
The company is the 5th factory among the seven (7) factories of Miyasaka Rubber Co., Ltd. and the first to be located outside of Japan.
In the year 1999, the company embarked in the improvement of the Quality Management System and successfully acquired ISO 9001:1994 QMS certification on May 20, 2000. In May 2003, the same Quality Management System was successfully upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 QMS.
In the year 2006, the company saw the need to improve further the ISO 9001:2000
QMS to ISO/TS 16949:2002 QMS. In 2008, Environmental Management System was established based on ISO 14001:2004 Standards.
