Midland Lead Manufacturers Ltd is a privately owned UK based company established in 1983. We are producers of cast lead sheet and currently supply about 20% of the UK lead sheet market, we have worldwide coverage and operate a fully IPPC licensed reprocessing plant capable of recycling 35,000 tonnes of soft lead scrap per annum.
Our lead is produced to British Board Of Agrement (BBA) standards; our current certificate Number 86/1764 was first granted in 1983 and has been renewed on a regular three year basis since then.
Although lead sheet is our core business we are buyers of lead scrap and also trade in other lead products such as ingots and ballast. We also have a lead product ancillary range for use alongside our lead sheet and are manufacturers of lead lined plaster boards for use in X Ray Protection Systems and as acoustic sound proofing boards for walls floors and ceiling.
