The interdisciplinary team currently carries on a number of ongoing R& D programs aimed at developing disruptive NEMS / MEMS solutions for high value niche applications. To realize immediate commercial success, one of the current R& D programs is focused on applying its proprietary microcantilever array technologies to the areas of the ID tag markets. The targetted commercial applications for the technology include distributed sensor networks, optical communication networks, vehicle monitoring at toll booth and inventory management, to name a few.
