The tufting tape replaces the twine and buttons and makes tufting of futon mattress padding a faster, easier and more accurate operation.
The felt washer can be placed between the tufting tape end and the futon mattress, for neatness and comfort.
The tufting process is very easy, using our tufting needle. Insert one end of the tufting tape in our tufting needle by pushing it into the slot towards the point, then push the needle through compressed mattress and the tufting tape will automatically eject after it has come through the other side of the futon mattress. No previous experience is necessary. The futon mattress is fully tufted in a few moments.
The tufting needle consists of two parts: Iron point and wood handle. When you will need a new needle, just order iron point only, attach it with screws to your old wood handle and continue to work. This will save you 50% from the cost of complete needle.
