Maktel was founded in 1972 by its own capital. By means of never-ending research and development activities in quality and productivity, has become the leading and the largest spring and the unique spring manufacturer in Turkey.
With more than 30 years experience, up-to-date technology, high volume production capacity, excellent engineering and quality control services and wide raw material stock Maktel relies on specialized equipment, much of its own design, for maximum efficiency and accuracy in the manufacture of pressure, tension, torsion and piston ring springs, wire forms strip forms and hose clamps (normal and screw type) out of wire diameters from 0, 15 mm up to 6 mm according to international standards or specifications of customers. The main customers are house hold appliances and automotive producers.
Maktel provides only consistent quality certified material (acc to international standards DIN 17223 / 2076, DIN 17224, DIN 17225) to meet the needs of the industry for high quality and performance parts.
Maktel's commitment is 'to make the best even better', so permanent total quality is the primary concern. Maktel has been certified according to ISO 9001-2000 since the year 2001and ISO 14001 this year. And the preparations are being done to achieve TS 16949 for next year.
