Getting inspiration from some financial institutions and friends M/S Soma Cottage Industries ( Pvt. ) Ltd. stepped into Lungi manufacturing business in mid of eighties with few handlooms to feed local market. With a primary success of experience led to the expansion of weaving in early nineties to a reasonable level of Lungi production with more than hundred of power looms, replacing the handlooms.
