The kaolin beneficiation project of KL Mineral Exploiting Processing Co., Ltd with 50.000 tons of annual production was approved to build by Vietnamese Minister of Defense, Minister of construction mining area license 1120/GP-BTNMT dated 29/8/2006 is launched by Minister of Natural resources and Environment. The total investment is 8.8 million dollars with 7.8 million dollars of fixed assets investment and 1 million dollars of floating assets.
As one of the national key development project, the exploitation and processing of kaolin is the rising industry in the country. Along with the development of the modern insustry, the kaolin products after beneficiation and processing are in short supply and will be in increasing demand both at home and abroad, especially the development of the fine chemical industry, paper-making industry, clean water reagent industry, washing powder without phosphorus industry, petroleum activator industry, PVC industry, fiberglass without alkali industry have brought fine prospect to the development of the kaolin exploitation
The KL kaolin crystal structure incorpoates platy form, layer-overlapping and worm-like aggregate kaolinite, a small quantity of needle-like and pipe-likeillite and nerchinskite compose the integrative light non-metal mineral. Using the 4A zeolite made of kaolin refining product as main material and niter to replace the sodium tripolyphosphate with high import price in scour industry so as to produce the non-polluted washing powder without phosphorus to serve the environment protection industry.
The fine kaolin products can be widely used in ceramic, chemical, painting, rubber, plastic, cable, optical glass and spaceflight etc.
According to complexion that such products have been depending on import in a long time, the KL Mineral Exploiting Processing Co., Ltd makes full use of advantage of the resource, introduces the foreign advanced and well-developed equipment and techniques for deep processing to construct a 50.000 tons kaolin refining plant.
