PROCEDURE:
-Seller sends FCO and contract to buyer for study
-Signing of contract by Buyer and Seller
-Seller sends POP to Buyer and Buyer chooses loading date.
-NNPC confirms the re-assignment, Lay-can (loading date) to buyers by
Fax/Telex.
-Buyer opens L/C.
-Nomination of vessel and signing of charter party agreement with the
vessel agents.
-Loading, confirmation of shipping documents.
-Discharge of the cargo at the Buyer's destination.
-Upon discharge and inspection by an inspection agent and issuance of clean report of findings stating quality and quantity, payment is made within Thirty-Five (35) days from Bill of Lading date (Based on out-turned barrels).
