KAB Instruments was founded in 1987 as an importer of Ultrasonic level equipment and, in 1994, started designing their own range of products. Today, the company designs and manufactures state of the art Ultrasonic level measuring equipment that includes a range of low cost products from short-range ultrasonic level switches to long-range 60 M dual units.
KAB Instruments also design their own range of Ultrasonic transducers, which have been designed to meet the harsh conditions of modern day industrial plants.
All products are designed directly from customer input and are exported to more than 52 countries.
Products are manufactured with surface mount components with the aid of a pick-and-place machine. Testing for functionality and reliability is done by state of the art, purpose-designed software and the use of computer diagnostic systems.
The company operates from spacious premises in Eastcliff, Johannesburg, where it employs a staff of twenty employees.
KAB is ISO9001 certified by Dekra of Germany and all their products carry the CE mark.
