Company Introduction

Pyromex is a UHTG technology capable of processing multiple types of waste streams into recoverable energy constituents or syngas while releasing minimal carbon dioxide or greenhouse gasses to the environment. The gasification process is state of art, proven technology using commercially available equipment that will be primarily manufactured domestically. The system utilizes temperatures above 2200 degrees Fahrenheit to accomplish the destructive distillation of non-toxic, toxic, low-radiation and sludge waste material. This distillation process occurs in the absence of oxygen thereby safely reducing the material into syngas and a non-hazardous, non-leachable inorganic material that can be utilized for various purposes including as an aggregate in concrete. Pyromex syngas is produced in a more cost-effective manner than other UHTG methods such as plasma because the patented rotary kiln and induction coils are inherently more efficient in generating the intense reactor heat. Syngas from traditional low temperature gasification (plants that operate below 1500 degrees Fahrenheit) have tar contamination that generally limits their commercial use, and only 15% of the off-take from a low temperature system becomes syngas compared to 94-97% from a Pyromex system. As was shown at our last meeting, a Pyromex production plant walkthrough can be found at http://*****/watch?v=woH0s1cZIQg (7 minutes). Please note that temperatures are given in Celsius (the average reactor temperature is 1200 degrees Celsius, or approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit). Pyromex UHTG will allow us to obtain the most energy return from the biomass waste streams resulting from our pressing work to save our forests. It will help America pay for the desperately needed thinning and forest health care while providing a waste-to-energy market share to Pacific Power, potentially satisfying the anticipated Renewable Energy Credit (green tags) mandate.
