JARTEK TEKNIK TEKSTIL JarMed Disposables, is the medical branch of Jartek Technical Textiles Ltd. which has been established in 2004. Located in Istanbul, Turkey, our main offices are in Sisli, Istanbul. We use the latest technology for PE film production. Both breathable and non-breathable films can be produced with or without the surface embossing and corona treatment. Non-breathable films laminated with special non-wovens are intended for medical use. The 3D shape on the film prevents the reverse blood flow and accelerates the absorption process. Our PE films can be produced in different weights ranging from 12 to 80 gsm/m2 with any colors desired and in addition to the lamination alternatives it is possible to provide the option of printing one or two colors. The inline printing makes it possible to print with water-based ink so that the wetness can be detected. Having acquired EN 13795, about 8months after our R&D projects were completed, we have started marketing our signature products domestically and globally. This conformity allows us to sell our goods to medical converters who then manufacture our materials and turn them into finished products. We also have Oeco-Tex certification on our products because we care about our environment and all our raw material suppliers have supplied us with necessary documents showing compatibility to the rules and regulations of necessary authorities. The ISO certification for the production site is under process since October of 2008 and will be completed by the final inspection hopefully towards the end of July 2009.
