Copra cake/ meal is the residue of the coconut meat (copra) after its oil extraction. Because of its high protein content, it became a valuable concentrated additive for mixed livestock feeds. It is a particular favorite of dairy cattle which increases the fat content of their milk and giving it a sweetish, nutty flavor and a yellow color. It is also used as feed additive for chicken, dog, fish, horse, pig, etc.
