IPT is a service group of service departments involved in the production activities of the steel plant and its limestone and dolomite querries. Railway department, Process auto transport department and Process auto repaircomplex. Railway department involves in rail transport inside the steel mills and has 16 locomotives in use alongwith other rolling stock. PAT department comprise of heavy machinery which includes dozers, excavators, wheel loaders, lifters, skid steer, dumpers etc(all more than 200) . PARC ***** process auto repair complex deals with the repair/maintenance of the heavy construction machinery.
