Intimex Group Joint Stock Company, previously known as Intimex Import Export Joint Stock Company, officially came into operation on July 1, 2006. Intimex Hochiminh was formed on the basis of the equitization of the Hochiminh City Branch of Intimex Import Export Corporation, found in 1995 and under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. After 10 years operating in branch model of which almost nothing in hands, no facility, capital and only 5-staff team from the beginning. By the end of 2005, when the Company prepared to transform to the Joint Stock Company model, revenue of Intimex Hochiminh already reached more than VND 1,860 billion, import and export volume exceeded US$ 105 million and contributed more than VND 30 billion to the state budget. At the time of equitization, Intimex Hochiminh had only VND 14.4 billion of charter capital, 91 staffs, only one clean pepper processing factory in Binh Duong, headquarter office in Hochiminh City and 3 branches. After 7 years, Company had a boom development with annual average growth rate of 30-50%. From July 1, 2011, Company has operated with the new name: Intimex Group Joint Stock Company (Intimex Group) with the development orientation of multi-sector, multi-profession, and multi-nation.
