With a vision to reduce carbon footprints in the environment as well transforming into a self sufficient producer & consumer of Carbon Disulphide (CS2), Indofil Industries Limited, Mumbai, India entered into a joint venture with Shanghai Baijin Chemicals Group Compnay Ltd. (SBC), Shanghai, China and formed Indo Baijin Chemicals Private Ltd. (IB) on Oct 29, 2010.The joint venture is putting up a manufacturing facility for producing 50,000 tons/annum of CS2 by using natural gas as a raw material, at Dahej SEZ area in Gujarat, India.
